This policy explains what Renzo Skills Ltd does with your personal information when you use this website, take the quiz or book a call with an advisor.
Who we are
Renzo Skills Ltd is the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
When you take the quiz we collect your answers. Those cover the kind of work you have done, how you like to work and what interests you, along with your age bracket, your employment situation, when you could start, how you would look to fund training and how soon you need to be earning.
At the end of the quiz we ask for your first name and email address so we can show you your result and talk to you about training.
We also record how you arrived here: the advertising campaign parameters in the link you clicked, the page you landed on, and the referring website.
We collect information about how you use the site through Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. That includes pages viewed, steps completed in the quiz and whether you watched the video.
We record whether you ticked the marketing email box, when you ticked it, and the exact wording you agreed to.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
To show your quiz result and to contact you about training, including arranging and following up your advisor call. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. You asked us for a result and a conversation, and we use your details to provide them.
To send you marketing emails about courses, funding options and start dates. Our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the quiz. You can withdraw it at any time.
To measure and improve our advertising and this website, using Google Analytics and the Meta pixel from your first visit.
To keep records of the consent you gave, which we are required to be able to evidence. Our lawful basis is our legal obligation.
Marketing and how to opt out
If you tick the marketing box we may email you about courses, funding, start dates and related content. Ticking it is optional and never a condition of seeing your quiz result or booking a call.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time using the contact details above. Unsubscribing does not stop the emails and messages that relate directly to a call you have booked.
How long we keep it
If you enquire but do not enrol, we keep your contact record and quiz answers for up to two years from your last contact with us, so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.
If you enrol, we keep your records for as long as you are a student and for six years afterwards, to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We keep records of marketing consent, and of withdrawal of consent, for as long as we need them to show we handled your choice correctly.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, and to ask us to delete it. You can object to us using it for our legitimate interests, ask us to restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. That does not affect anything we did with your information before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
